Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking (KTW) is one of the largest producers of wine and alcoholic beverages in Georgia. KTW Group operates in several key sectors, including wine and spirits production, hospitality and wine tourism, agribusiness, real estate development, food manufacturing, and a nationwide retail chain of wine and spirits stores branded as Vincero.
Today, the company unites three wine and spirits production facilities: Velistsikhe-Mukuzani Winery and Distillery, Chateau Manavi, Patardzeuli Wine and Brandy Factory, and Keda Winery. It also operates two fruit, vegetable, and honey processing plants located in Keda and Chokhatauri, under the Nena brand.
The company is actively involved in the HoReCa sector, agriculture, construction and development, as well as the import and distribution of third-party goods both locally and across Europe. KTW’s annual production capacity reaches 10,000 tons of wine material and 20,000 tons of alcohol base for brandy production.
The company’s history dates back to the 19th century, when Antimoz Chkhaidze established a wine cellar in the village of Askana, in the Guria region of western Georgia. He became renowned for producing rare and distinguished Georgian wines such as Chkhaveri, Tsolikouri, and Jani.
