Chacha is crafted using the ancient traditional Georgian method, derived from grape sweetness, originating in Kakheti. During winter, grape juice is carefully preserved in kvevris, ceramic amphorae buried underground, before being transferred to copper vessels for distillation. Following this process, chacha undergoes a meticulous aging period of 12 months in oak barrels, resulting in its distinctive dark golden hue and rich aroma.
The optimal storage conditions for chacha require temperatures between 5-20°C with relative air humidity not exceeding 85%. Its composition consists of distillates derived from the Rkatsiteli and Vzhene grape varieties, blended with softened water.
Proudly crafted in Georgia, Chacha is a testament to the expertise of "Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking" LLC. Located in the Sagarejo district, Patardzeuli village, our commitment to quality shines through in every sip.
