This protected designation of origin wine is made from Saperavi grapes grown in the Mukuzani microzone of Kakheti, matured in oak casks for six months.
The wine is deep crimson. It has a velvety taste with tones of ripe berries and cherry.
After maturation in oak, aromas of black pepper and dark chocolate develop. Powerful tannins, high alcohol and a long finish come through.
