In the village of Velistsikhe in Kakheti stands a primary grape processing plant equipped with modern machinery from the Italian wine equipment brand Della Toffola, consisting of four halls. The first two halls receive and process grapes for wine, the third stores the finished wine material, and the fourth receives and processes grapes for brandy.
The plant can receive and process 1,000 tonnes of wine grapes and 1,500 tonnes of brandy grapes in a day. For wine production the halls hold 165 tanks of 36 tonnes, 10 tanks of 100 tonnes and 15 tanks of 120 tonnes. For brandy production the site holds an Italian-built still and 90 tanks of 100 tonnes.
On the grounds of the Velistsikhe-Mukuzani Winery and Distillery there is a wine and spirits store-salon, which hosts dozens of tourists every day.
